  Job Purpose
The primary role of a Door Supervisor is to ensure the safety and security of the venue's clients and employees. 
 
Job Overview
 As a Door Supervisor, you will ensure the safety of staff and customers, as well as protect assets within the clients' business and provide excellent customer service.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
You will be stationed at the building's entrance, screening visitors for suitability. 

Ensure the visitor is not under the age of 18 or in possession of any dangerous substances or things, such as drugs or weapons

Controlling entry and exit route
Customer management to maintain a safe environment within the venue

 

Crowd control
Supervising customer arrivals - Carrying out ID checks- Screening and searching for individuals

Requirements 
A valid SIA licence - Door Supervisor Licence 
Have excellent communication skills and be customer service focused

Be able to work as part of a team
Be reliable and confident

Ability to tackle emergency situations, Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations

Blue Line Operations are currently recruiting Security Officers in London & East of England for static and function/event work.

 

Your duties will be detailed in our assignment instructions but will include:


Internal and external site patrols.
Locking / unlocking of premises..
Control of ingress / egress of staff and visitors.
Monitoring site CCTV.
Completion of assignment logs and incident reports.
Searches as required.
You must hold a valid SIA licence to work in the private security industry
(which should be for Door Supervision for the function/ event work).
 

All candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the static site work will usually require some computer use.


Our Officers are required to be of smart appearance with excellent customer service and conflict management skills.
A 5 year checkable work history will be required from successful candidates in accordance with BS7858.

You will be required to work on different sites full training will be provided for this and shift patterns will vary from site to site which will include days, nights and weekends so a flexible approach is required.
